This fine Qashgai piece makes a bold statement with two renditions of the tribal emblem, a design motif sometimes used in their rugs. 

The drawing has the characteristics sought by collectors, a variety of figures of plants, leaves and flowers presented in a rustic flow ………a pictorial immersion in the natural life of a nomadic tribe, a celebration of nature.

This piece is wool on wool, and in excellent condition, an investment and collectible piece of a vanished way of life, a tribal artefact. Note the painstakingly created six borders surrounding the main field, and the “intensity “of life in the reserve –criteria of importance in selecting a tribal carpet.
